Welcome to my listing! I currently teach yoga to individuals of a variety of ages from children to older adults who have a wide range of abilities. One of my passions is making yoga fit the unique needs and abilities of each individual I work with and in many different environments. I currently teach a group class for adults with cognitive/developmental disabilities as well as a few who have sensory and/or physical disabilities. I have experience guiding children and teens in yoga studios, a fitness facility, a church, outside at the Boys’ and Girls’ Club, and in a daycare. I have experience volunteering with Adaptive Yoga NW, working with many adults with physical limitations and challenges. In my general adult classes I am an advocate for listening to your unique needs and abilities, offering props to everyone and optional poses that make yoga accessible to all! I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and have a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education. My eventual goal is to connect yoga with counseling for individuals and families with disabilities. Feel free to contact me for either a private or group lesson!
